More on Fireworks

Fireworks will be permitted in East Grand Rapids 11 a.m.-11:45 p.m. June 29-July 4 per Michigan law. They are prohibited on public, church, school or private property without express permission from the property owner or a permit from the City.

If you choose to celebrate the Fourth of July by setting off fireworks, please be courteous of your neighbors. The loud noises and flashing lights are a post-traumatic stress trigger for many veterans and can frighten pets. Learn more by reading our fireworks safety tips

Boat Ramp Reminder

The boat ramp will be closed 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. on July 4.
