Upcycle Bikes refurbishes and donates adult bikes to provide an affordable and accessible transportation resource for financially constrained individuals.
Our bikes enhance our riders’ individual independence and their connections to community resources.
Bikes are our operation, but we provide independence and opportunity through affordable access to community resources. We actively collect used adult bikes, refurbish them with a team of staff and volunteer mechanics, and donate them across the greater Grand Rapids community.
We distribute our bikes to those in need through many distribution partners. They know their clients best and where the need is greatest.
